Welcome from Manhattan PTO
Manhattan PTO currently serves the following three District 114 Schools:
Wilson Creek Elementary, Anna McDonald Elementary and Manhattan Jr. High.

Making Memories to Last a Lifetime.
The Manhattan PTO unites the families of students and the school staff in coordinating memory making events for the students and the families of Manhattan School District 114. Some of these events include: Activity Nights for Mother/Son, Father/Son, Mother/Daughter and Father/Daughter, School Dances, Route 66 Monster Mash, Night at the Movies, Bowling, Family Outings, Family Skate and more!

As an entitiy of the schools, we focus our attention on fundraising for the schools. During the 2007/08 school year we raised approximately $25,000 with our fundraisers. These profits are distributed among the schools to purchase wish list items such as educational supplies and equipment beyond what the school budgets allow. Some enhancements that PTO has funded in the past include: Computers and Technology Items, Multimedia Projector, Math, Science and Health Class Materials, Playground Equipment, MJHS Sign and Books for all Levels of Reading.
The fundraisers for 2008/09 include Midland Holiday Catalog Sale, Walt Disney World Raffle and Manhattan American Subscription Drive.
Midland's Holiday Catalog carries a variety of candy, gift items and wonderful items for around the house.
We also have ongoing fundraisers.
As an additional service, PTO organizes a Room Parent Committee to plan 3 Holiday Room Parties each year for both Wilson Creek and Anna McDonald.
PTO is also pleased to sponsor an end-of-the-year "Spring Fling" for MJHS students.
We also issue "4" Lincoln-Way Scholarships totalling $1,400 to select Seniors who have been through the Manhattan Schools.
