We are always excited to see new faces in attendance at one of our public events!!! We encourage prospective new members to attend up to two events (two monthly business meetings or one park day and one business meeting) before deciding if you would like to join.
We feel confident that this club has something to offer ALL MOMS, whether you stay at home, work part time, work fulltime or work from your home. It is also beneficial to children of all ages as well, they get to make new friends and have the socializations so many of them need. For information on up and coming events that you as a prospective new member could attend, please contact our Membership Vice President. We look forward to hearing from you.
Something to Note
Due to the territory guidelines set forth by the International MOMS Club® our chapter is currently open to all residents residing in the following towns:
Edwardsville, Bethalto, Collinsville, Cottage Hills, East Alton, Glen Carbon, Hamel, Hartford, Marine, Maryville, Moro, Roxana, South Roxana, Troy, Wood River, and Worden

Guidelines
Joining the MOMS Club is easy!
Here's how it works:
- Contact Tammie our Membership Vice President. Please include your name, address, phone number and children’s names and ages.
- The Membership Vice President will then email you back and work out a good time for you and your children to attend an event. The membership paperwork will be provided then for those of you who already know you would like to join. If you are not sure after the first scheduled get together you may attend two events (two monthly business meetings or one park day and one business meeting), before joining. Please let our Membership Vice President know which activity you plan to attend so that she can coordinate with the host and make sure the information is readily available.
- Once you decide to join, sign and complete the membership form and return it to the MVP either hand deliver or mail it (address will be at the bottom of the form) along with your yearly dues of $20.00 per year which covers postage, copying costs, office supplies, bank fees, dues to our international organization, refreshments, Sunshine Committee costs, and meeting space are just some of the examples. By signing the Membership Liability Release form you agree to follow the membership guidelines.
If the $20 membership should fee where to be a serious hardship for your family contact one of the members of the executive board for a waiver, we don’t want money to be the reason you don't join.
After you join
- Shortly after receiving your membership information packet, you will receive a welcome email letter from our Membership Vice President, which will include frequently asked questions as well as a personal getting to know you survey to be returned to the Membership Vice President at your convenience. It will help us get to know you find out more about you and your personal interests and ideas about the group as well as to help get you more involved within our group.
- Members may attend or participate in all MOMS Club events and benefits. Please remember to RSVP to the host directly when required otherwise to the yahoo group in a timely manner. Please RSVP to all events you plan to attend public or private so we can be sure to look out for you and update you should we have to make any changes.
- As a member we request that you help fill in our monthly calendar. We encourage at least 2 events per year. Examples include: hosting a playgroup (does not have to be in your home), organizing and planning field trips or a park date. To host something or an event contact Doretta our group Secretary or sign up at the monthly business meeting for the date you desire.
- After one year the treasurer will contact you via email to find out if you plan on renewing your membership. Checks should be made payable to: The MOMS Club of Edwardsville, Illinois at this time you will also need to sign an updated Membership Liability Release Form.
- If you have any questions or concerns about our chapter feel free to contact any of the board members. For more information on the club or to obtain a membership application, please contact our Membership Vice President at momsclubofedwardsville@yahoo.com.
