Service Projects

The MOMS Club® of Edwardsville, IL believes there is no greater service one can perform than helping a person less fortunate than oneself. Every year, we participate in at least one service project to benefit women, children, and families in need. We encourage all members to participate in these activities, and this year hope to include our children and husbands in several projects as well.

We obviously want to assist those people who need our help, but our service projects also serve another purpose. It is our hope that by giving back to our communities, our members will develop a greater sense of purpose and being for their own lives. We also hope to represent a positive side of the stay at home mother and the roles that we play in today's society.

We have lots of great ideas for service projects this year, and hope to make a difference for so many people. We will need everyone's help to complete these projects, and every single person can make a difference in the lives of others if they put their mind to it!

Some Ideas for Service Projects This Year Include:

  • School Supply Drive
  • Park Clean Up Day
  • Nursing Home Visits
  • Homemade Holiday Cards for the sick & elderly
  • Canned Food Drive
  • Blanket Drive for the Homeless
  • Penny Collection for the March of Dimes
  • Game Night at Ronald McDonald House
  • Toy Drive/ Fundraiser for Children's Hospital
  • Craft projects to send to hospitals and nursing homes
  • Thank you cards/boxes to deployed troops
If you have any ideas for a service project we could participate in that is not listed, please feel free to contact us. We are always looking for new ways to give back to our community!
