Pack Rules of Conduct The Boy Scout and Cub Scout programs are a privilege, not a right, for those boys and parents willing to accept the high standards of Scouting with their required behavior. Cub Scout Pack 84's Code of Conduct is necessary to ensure that Scouting's high ideals are met by all of our participants, boys as well as adults. Committee Members and Den Leaders have met and developed the Cub Scout Pack 84 Code of Conduct by which all Pack and Den Meetings and outings will be governed. The Code of Conduct is as follows: 1. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior will result in a time-out from the meeting activity. A second incident will result in a second time-out. If there is a third incident, the parents will be called to remove the boy from the meeting. At the next meeting the Den Leader will allow only one time-out for that boy before the parents are called to remove him. If disruptive or inappropriate behavior continues, a subsequent meeting will be attended by the Cubmaster and/or Committee Member. Should any disruptive or inappropriate behavior occur for that boy, his parents will be called and a discipline meeting will be held at that time. Decisions on what constitutes disruptive or inappropriate behavior will be determined by Den Leaders at the time of the meeting, and will be reviewed by the Executive Committee. 2. A parent or guardian will accompany a scout attending meetings or outings into the building or home and present him to the Den Leader, and pick him up in the presence of the Den Leader. No scout will be allowed to be unaccompanied to or from meetings or outings. Car pools are highly recommended. 3. Any destruction of public, private, or personal property will result in the parents being called to remove the boy immediately and a suspension of two meetings will be imposed. Subsequent destruction of property will result in the expulsion of the boy from the Pack. Destruction of property will be determined by the proper authorities as to the person or persons responsible for the destruction. The Cub Scout pack 84 Code of Conduct requires parents to be financially responsible for the actions of their children. The Cub Scout Pack 84 Code of Conduct was designed to provide the kind of environment that each of us wants our children to have. Thank you for your continued support.
