Cast Expectations and Theatre Rules

Cast/Crew Expectations and Procedures
- Be on time! Rehearsal begins at 3:30 p.m.
- A scheduled 5-minute break will be given after every fifty minutes of rehearsal or a ten minute break after every 90 minutes.
- There will be a mandatory Cast/Crew meeting on Tuesday each week from 3:30-3:50.
- Actors may not change their appearance in any way without permission form one of the directors.
- Cast members may be expected to provide minor costume pieces and purchase an individual make-up kit.
- All school policies will be enforced including the eligibility requirements.
- Be prepared for each rehearsal with pencils, scripts, shoes, rehearsal clothing, etc.
- The following attendance policy will be strictly enforced.
- 1st absence- take down name
- 2nd absence- conference with student/warning that he/she will be cut
- 3rd absence- student is cut from the cast/crew
- With any absence, arrangements must be made to attend a pick-up rehearsal.
Theatre Rules
- No one is allowed in the catwalks or lighting booth without daily permission from one of the directors.
- No food or drink is allowed in the carpeted area of the theater.
- Auditions, rehearsals, crew days and all production related parties are closed. No friends or family members are allowed.
- Do not touch any prop or costume that is not specifically assigned to you.
- Rehearsals will end on time. Have rides arranged.
- Let the directors direct the show. Do not take it upon yourself to tell your peers what to do.
- Power tools are not toys. They are dangerous and anyone misusing them will be asked to leave. Safety goggles must be worn whenever tools are used.
- Please help keep the theater clean at all times. Clean up after yourself AND each other.
- Do not bring valuables to the theater. Directors and the school are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
