Congratulations to James Neigel... ...for representing Round Lake High School at the 2009 IMEA All-state Conference in Peoria, January 28-31. James was accepted into the All-state HONORS chorus following a rigorous audition process. His performance was excellent! We are so proud of you, James!

Panther Voices & Women's Ensemble 2009-2010! Congratulations to all of the students who auditioned for Panther Voices and Women's Ensemble for the 2009-2010 school year! I was very impressed that 25 students auditioned; we've never had that many audition. Also, I was very impressed that those of you who auditioned demonstrated marked improvement in your sight-reading skills, which is a very important element in these advanced ensembles. If you were not accepted into either ensemble, keep up the hard work. Just because you weren't ready for these groups this year, doesn't mean you won't be ready next year. Congratulations to those who were accepted, but keep in mind the hard work does not end here. These groups are also a significant time committment outside of the school day. It is important that you are mentally prepared for the responsibility you now possess.
