SOUTHEAST REGION AT THE JANUARY GA!
WE ARE LOOKING FOR NEW MEMBERS LIKE YOU!
The Junior Chamber organization is a constructive action organization of young persons who devote a portion of their time to community service in the public interest, developing young persons as leaders of their community. The Jaycees are a group of young adults involved in the community. Anyone between the ages of 18 and 40 can join a local organization(each local chapter's age limits are different). Our members are simply people who wish to better themselves while serving the community. Jaycees participate in a wide variety of activities, but are best known for our community projects.
Activities are offered in three development areas:
Individual Development
Programs designed to increase the personal skills of
the individual member.
Community Development
Programs and projects run by the chapter for the
direct benefit of the community.
Management Development
Management techniques and officer's training
to improve the individual's management skills.
ARCOLA JAYCEES
The Arcola Jaycees meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at Desi's House in Arcola. The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. See the chapter link for more information about upcoming projects, etc.
CHARLESTON JAYCEES
The Charleston Jaycees meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at the Charleston Elk's Lodge on 6th Street in Charleston. The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. See the chapter link for more information about upcoming projects, etc.
DECATUR JAYCEES
The Decatur Jaycees meet the 1st Wednesday of the month-call for location details. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. See the chapter link for more information about upcoming projects, etc.
PARIS JAYCEES
The Paris Jaycees meet the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at the American Legion. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. See the chapter link for more information about upcoming projects, etc.
VANDALIA JAYCEES
