Volunteer Needed!  
Pumpkinfest Saturday Oct. 8th, 5K fundraiser. We need lots of walkers/runners! Participants should come around 7:30a.m., pre-registration is preferred, but not required. Registration forms can be picked one up in the office. We also need plenty of volunteers. Volunteers are needed to help with registration and standing on the corners to direct the walkers/runners. It's a pretty easy job. You will need to be up at the courthouse square by 7:15a.m. so we can direct you on where you need to be. You will be done as soon as the last person finishes so it shouldn't take up too much of your morning. You may bring your kids if they'd like to come along AND 8th graders will get community service hours for coming to help. The Pumpkinfest starts immediately after so there will be things for the kids to do. Most things are free or very low in cost from what I understand. Please email Jennifer Mechler if you can help out, or if you have any questions. Thank you!!

 
Scrip Cards Available! 
Please take advantage of the Scrip Program at SPPCS and help our school get FREE money from your card purchases. Did you know that all your scrip purchases benefit both you and SPPCS. For each of your scrip purchases 25% of the profit earned will be credited to your next year's registration fees! The credit is limited to $350 per child. Here's how it works: You buy scrip with a value of $200 and a contribution value of 8%. The total profit on your purchase is $16. The profit would be divided $12 to SPPCS and $4 toward your family's 2011 fees. The more you buy, the more both you and SPPCS benefit. Order forms are available outside the school office and on the SPPCS website. Orders received on Monday, before the end of school, will be available to you by Friday afternoon.

We have scrip cards to various retailers in the Waterloo and St. Louis areas! McDonalds, Schneider's Meats, Applebee's are just to name a few.
