According to a study published in 1994 by the National Committee for Citizens in Education, "A New Generation of Evidence: The Family is Critical to Student Achievement", students with parents who are involved in their school tend to have fewer behavioral problems and better academic performance, and are more likely to complete secondary school than students whose parents are not involved in their school.
If you are interested in volunteering or participating in any of the events Friends of SPPCS supports or sponsors, please contact any of the individuals below, use the Contact Us section of the main page to submit a question and your email address, or complete the Event Volunteer Form and return to the school office.
Please note: It is a diocesan policy that all volunteers complete a volunteer application, which can be obtained in the school office. Under most circumstances, parents wishing to chaperone a field trip or coach a school team must also attend Child Protection training. Contact the school office for more information.
