BIG THANKS!! Thank you to everyone who came out this summer and helped support our Barnes and Noble book sale. We raised $130 for our school thanks to you. The next B&N sale for St Mary's will be November 30. Thank you to Rep. Bob Pritchard for generously donating an Illinois state flag for us to fly at our school. Thank you to Caribou Coffee for donating the delicious coffee that we were able to offer on the first day of Kindergarten in the lobby. What a great way to welcome our new families! Did you notice the brightly colored balloons out in front of the school the first day back? Thanks to the Blue Moon Balloon Co. for their donation. Blue Moon has been extremely giving to St Mary's and our various causes!

January Market Day Sale Update
We sold $4,220 worth of food and earned $420.00 for our school this month.
After five sales, we have earned $3,608 for our school.
Our January sale volunteers, Jeanne Etheridge, Kristin Sulaver-Diedrich, Pam Sullivan, Colleen Tumminaro and Kalah Williams called every customer to remind them to pick up their orders. Ingrid Friedlund, Erin Hawkins, Heather Hawkins, Thomas Head, Shauna Head, Kate Noreiko, Sue Pelikan, Amy Shipman, Mark Shipman, Zachary Shipman, and Gene Wisser packed 59 orders for our customers. Thank you.
Our long-time Market Day Rep, JoAnne Bullock, is retiring on February 1, 2008. In her twenty year career with Market Day, she always has been our Market Day Rep. Over the years, she was given several opportunities to give up our sale and choose one closer to her home. Every time, she refused. It was a difficult decision for her; we will miss her very much but wish her well. Market Day has not selected a new Rep for our sale at this time.
Next month’s sale is February 16th. If you purchase three cookie dough items, you receive a free 6-pack of Nesquick Low Fat Chocolate milk. Place your order by Friday, February 8th or, if you order on-line, by noon on Wednesday, February 13th.
