Volunteers are what makes Wayne School so successful!
It helps create a caring environment for our students. There are many ways to volunteer. The easiest way to find out what is available is to go to the Wayne PTO Manager at www.wayne.ptomanager.com.
If you haven't registered, or entered your students name with their teacher, it only takes a few minutes. From there you will see the many opportunities for volunteering. But don't worry, there is no commitment. This is just a way for us to build a database of volunteers based on your interests. Questions? Contact our volunteer coordinators.
Teacher Appreciation Appreciation!
Thank you to all who participated in making Teacher Appreciation a big hit this year.
Our week started with the All-Inclusive Breakfast cart that was decorated as Tiki Huts. The creative carts were amazing. Thanks to Tammy Binetti who was the engineer behind the huts. We also had lots of people who were so very generous in providing lots of yummy treats for all staff. Thank you to Michell Molitor, Tammy Binetti, Rina Raval and Jean Mitustik for pushing the huts around.
Tuesday’s bouquets were the best ever.
Wednesday’s Siesta day was a big success. Thanks to all who participated. Teachers loved the break. It was lots of fun to see the teacher’s lounge full of staff just chatting and laughing away. Also for all who bought in goodies for them to munch on throughout the day.
Thursday we handed out a gift for each staff member. Thanks to Tammy and Rina this was executed to perfection.
Finally, Friday during our Luau we received lots of generous gift cards to raffle off. Thank you to everyone who donated. A very special Thank you to the Koerner Family who donated around 15 beautiful baskets and gifts for the raffle.
The week could not have been successful without the help of Tammy Binetti and Rina Raval. You both rock!!! Thank you for your help! I hope that next year we could do it again!!

Box Tops
Thanks to Leah Barfield who took lots of her time preparing Box Top labels. She just sent in a huge order, which gets us funding for enriching the education of our students. Also a thanks to all the families who sent in labels.
Donations of Supplies
A note of thanks goes out to Bernie and Sheryl Weber owners of Unique Products and Service Corp. for donating paper products for our Father/Daughter Dance and Fun Fair. WE appreciate all the support they have given us over the years.
