Thank God for total restoration and complete vindication

Assumption of Mary
 All-powerful and
ever-living God,
you raised the sinless
Virgin Mary,
mother of your Son,
body and soul
to the glory
of heaven.

May we see heaven
as our final goal
and come to share
her glory.

We ask this through
our Lord Jesus Christ,
your Son,
who lives and reigns
with you and the
Holy Spirit
one God,
for ever and ever.
Amen
A great sign appeared in heaven:
a woman clothed with the sun,
the moon beneath her feet, and a
crown of twelve stars on her head.
Rev. 12:1

Glorious Apostle St. Jude, Thank you for favors granted to me in a desperate time. I am ever mindful of this favor and honor thee as my special and most powerful patron. I praise God with thee and all the Saints forever. Amen.

Prayer to Saint Jude

Most holy apostle, St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of his enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many, but the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless causes, of things almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need that I may receive the consolation and help of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, particularly Tom and total restoration and complete vindication and that I may praise God with you and all the elect forever. I promise, O blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, to always honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to gratefully encourage devotion to you. Amen.

Thank you God for four blessed grandsons

The Shield of St. Patrick

I bind unto myself today the strong name of the trinity, by invocation of the same, the Three in One, the One in Three.

I bind this day to me forever by power of faith Christ's incarnation,

His baptism in the Jordan river, his death on the cross for my salvation;

His bursting from the spiced tomb, his riding up the

heavenly way,

His coming at the day of doom I bind unto myself today.

I bind unto myself today the power of God to hold and lead,

His eye to watch, his might to stay, his ear to harken to my need,

The wisdom of my God to teach, his hand to guide, his shield to ward,

The Word of God to give me speech, his heavenly host to be my guard.

Christ be with me, Christ within me,

Christ behind me, Christ before me,

Christ beside me, Christ to win me;

Christ to comfort and restore me;

Christ beneath me, Christ above me,

Christ in quiet, Christ in danger,

Christ in hearts of all that love me,

Christ in mouth of friend and stranger.

I bind unto myself the name, the strong name of the Trinity, By invocation of the same, the Three in One, and One in Three, Of whom all nature hath creation, eternal Father, Spirit, Word; Praise to the God of my salvation, salvation is of Christ the Lord!

THANK YOU GOD!

1863 Thanksgiving Proclamation by Abraham Lincoln

The year that is drawing towards its close, has been filled with the blessings of fruitful fields and healthful skies. To these bounties, which are so constantly enjoyed that we are prone to forget the source from which they come, others have been added, which are of so extraordinary a nature, that they cannot fail to penetrate and soften even the heart which is habitually insensible to the ever watchful providence of Almighty God. In the midst of a civil war of unequalled magnitude and severity, which has sometimes seemed to foreign States to invite and to provoke their aggression, peace has been preserved with all nations, order has been maintained, the laws have been respected and obeyed, and harmony has prevailed everywhere except in the theatre of military conflict; while that theatre has been greatly contracted by the advancing armies and navies of the Union. Needful diversions of wealth and of strength from the fields of peaceful industry to the national defence, have not arrested the plough, the shuttle, or the ship; the axe had enlarged the borders of our settlements, and the mines, as well of iron and coal as of the precious metals, have yielded even more abundantly than heretofore. Population has steadily increased, notwithstanding the waste that has been made in the camp, the siege and the battle-field; and the country, rejoicing in the consciousness of augmented strength and vigor, is permitted to expect continuance of years with large increase of freedom.

No human counsel hath devised nor hath any mortal hand worked out these great things. They are the gracious gifts of the Most High God, who, while dealing with us in anger for our sins, hath nevertheless remembered mercy. It has seemed to me fit and proper that they should be solemnly, reverently and gratefully acknowledged as with one heart and voice by the whole American People. I do therefore invite my fellow citizens in every part of the United States, and also those who are at sea and those who are sojourning in foreign lands, to set apart and observe the last Thursday of November next, as a day of Thanksgiving and Praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the Heavens. And I recommend to them that while offering up the ascriptions justly due to Him for such singular deliverances and blessings, they do also, with humble penitence for our national perverseness and disobedience, commend to his tender care all those who have become widows, orphans, mourners or sufferers in the lamentable civil strife in which we are unavoidably engaged, and fervently implore the interposition of the Almighty Hand to heal the wounds of the nation and to restore it as soon as may be consistent with the Divine purposes to the full enjoyment of peace, harmony, tranquillity and Union.

Thanksgiving

What Am I Thankful For?

What am I thankful for this year? What blessings come to mind? My dear friends and relations, So loving and so kind.

Each time I see the sunrise, And the beauties of the day, The unexpected little joys, I find along the way.

What am I thankful for this year? The small and furry things, The hope that keeps me going, The peace believing brings.

I have so much to thank God for, I don't know where to start, I only know He walks with me, And lives within my heart!
