Words of
Our Lady of Guadalupe
to Juan Diego

"Listen, my son,
to what I tell
you now: do not be
troubled nor disturbed
by anything;
do not fear illness
nor any other
distressing occurrence,
nor pain.
Am I not your mother?
Am I not life and health?
Have I not placed you
on my lap and made you
my responsibility?
Do you need anything else?"

We are believing 100% in Jesus, Mary and Joseph

In the name of Jesus Tom and I ask

please give us all we desire

Thank you God for abundant grace!

May Tom and I be one
As you, Father,
in me and I in you.

O God, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
grant us the grace
to take to heart
the scandal of our divisions.
Deliver us
from all hatred and prejudice,
and from all that hinders unity.
As there is but one Body and one Spirit,
one Lord, one Faith, one Baptism,
one God and Father of all,
so may Tom and I also be of one heart
and one soul,
in Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen

May Tom and I be one
As you, Father,
in me and I in you.

our Lord Jesus Christ,your Son,
who lives and reigns

Some men immerse themselves
as deeply in prayer as fish in water,
because they give themselves totally to God.
O, how I love these noble souls!

How unlike them we are!
How often we come to church
with no idea of what to do
or what to ask for. And yet,
whenever we go to any human being,
we know well enough why we go.
And still worse,
there are some who seem to speak
to the good God like this:
"I will only say a couple of things to you,
and then I will be rid of you."
I often think that
when we come to adore the Lord,
we would receive everything we ask for,
if we would ask
with living faith
and with a pure heart.

May Tom and I be one
As you, Father,
in me and I in you.

O God, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
grant us the grace
to take to heart
the scandal of our divisions.

"See how they love one another"

must always be the witness of Tom and Terry.

How they related to one another,

how they treated differences among themselves

with respect and understanding -

was always the bottom line

in their walk of faith.

Not how much they knew,

how much they suffered,

or gave up

but always and forever -

how much they loved one another.

Saint Francis,
I know there is no
greater virtue than love
to draw souls to God.
Help Tom and I to let go of self
and embrace one another
with the great love and
generosity God is asking of us.
Amen.

Prayer for Peace

Lord, make me an instrument
of Your Peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not
So much seek to be consoled
as to console;
To be understood as to understand;
To be loved as to love
For it is in giving
that we receive;
It is in pardoning
that we are pardoned;
And it is in dying
That we are born
to eternal life.
Amen.

Romans 8:1

Therefore, there is now no condemnation
for those who are in Christ Jesus,

II Thessalonians 3:3

But the Lord is faithful,
and he will strengthen and
protect you from the evil one.

Psalm 91:9-10

If you make the Most High your dwelling
--even the Lord, who is my refuge
--then no harm will befall you,
no disaster will come near your tent.

Psalm 9:9

The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed,
a stronghold in times of trouble.

Galatians 3:13

Christ redeemed us
from the curse of the law
by becoming a curse for us,
for it is written:
"Cursed is everyone
who is hung on a tree."

 Psalm 37:23

If the Lord delights in a man's way,
he makes his steps firm.

Proverbs 16:3

Commit to the Lord whatever you do,
and your plans will succeed.

1 Corinthians 1:30

It is because of him
that you are in Christ Jesus,
who has become for us wisdom from God--
that is,
our righteousness, holiness and redemption.

Psalm 25:9

He guides the humble in what is right
and teaches them his way.

1 Corinthians 13

1 Though I speak with the tongues of men
and of angels, and have not charity,
I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

2 And though I have the gift of prophecy,
and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge;
and though I have all faith,
so that I could remove mountains,
and have not charity, I am nothing.

3 And though I bestow all my goods
to feed the poor,
and though I give my body to be burned,
and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind;
charity envieth not; charity vaunteth
not itself, is not puffed up,

5
 Doth not behave itself unseemly,
seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked,
thinketh no evil;

6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity,
but rejoiceth in the truth;

7 Beareth all things,
believeth all things,
hopeth all things, endureth all things.

8 Charity never faileth:
but whether there be prophecies,
they shall fail; whether there be tongues,
they shall cease;
whether there be knowledge,
it shall vanish away.

9 For we know in part,
and we prophesy in part.

10 But when that which is perfect is come,
then that which is in part shall be done away.

11 When I was a child,
I spake as a child,
I understood as a child,
I thought as a child:
but when I became a man,
I put away childish things.

12
 For now we see through a glass, darkly;
but then face to face:
now I know in part;
but then shall I know
even as also I am known.

13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity,
these three;
but the greatest of these is charity.
