Would you like to donate stamps?
Second annual Race for Education will take place on Friday May 7, 2010. We will need plenty of volunteers to help ensure this event go smoothly. There are 4 Volunteer phases
Please consider volunteering for at least one of the phases. Your help and support will greatly increase the success of this fundraiser.
We are also in need of lots and lots of stamps if you are willing to donate a book (20-.44cent stamps) please contact Race Chairmen Kelly Mammon at kmammon@yahoo.com
1.Kick–off Packet-3-4 volunteers
print, put packet together, place students name on packet
2.Writing of the mailers- (2 groups)
Group 1. Classroom helpers- (1per class) parents to walk around assisting teachers as students write their mailers
Group 2. “Race room” volunteers –(3-4) proofread, fold, and stamp mailers. Also write prefab mailers for grades K-2.
3.Records Keeping- more information in the coming months.
4.Race Day- (6-12volunteers)
