The Winter Shindig is an off-season gathering of staff members held at CCLT every January.
2004 Winter Shindig
Hopefully everyone had a great time at the Winter Shindig! Because of the lack of snow (absolutely none) and the unusually warm temperatures; we decide to turn the weekend into a "bowling bonanza". We all headed down to Auburn lanes and bowled a few games. W e then headed back to the A-Frame kicked back with some pizza, movies, and games. Throughout the weekend 16 alumni stopped by.

2005 Winter Shindig
The lack of snow in 2004 was made up for in 2005! The brave group of Wally Lester, Josh Kirlin, Justin Budreau, Bill Richman, Jen Catellier, and Mike Krider almost got snowed in at the A-Frame. About 8" blanketed the landscape that weekend, no doubt deterring more alumni from coming. Nevertheless, a great time was had playing Mario Party 6, reminescing about past summer camps, watching DVDs, and talking about 2005 camp season.
2006 Winter Shindig
The "2006" Winter Shindig was a great success, with over 20 alumni stopping by the A-Frame December 30-31.
Watching the first season of fan-favorite series The Amazing Race, DVDs, and playing Mario Party 7, as well as conquering the world in Risk and eating Karen's homemade snacks was the entertainment of Friday night.
Saturday morning, after some doughnuts, a group went to bowl and another group stayed to watch The Amazing Race. The hardy few who were left after lunch headed to Hamilton Lake to watch Brian and Lejo charge into some freezing water like polar bears.

2007 Winter Shindig
On December 29-30, 2006, around 30 alumni stopped by or spent the night at CCLT's A-Frame in the midst of some warm weather. Movies were watched, video games were played, food was eaten, Spoons was played (violently!), and Space Ghost Coast-to-Coast was watched. According to Claire Ensley, "One group played Apples to Apples, attempted to kidnap Tyler [Treesh], and drove in pea-soupy fog to get donuts in Angola. There was also the white elephant with Antonio's amazing spoon wind chimes and Bill [Richmond]'s 27 pine cones. And Bryan [Lineberry] did that door prize drawing."
