The current Executive Committee members and the qualifications of the Committee positions are listed below. There are some general qualifications that apply to all the positions. Taken from Article IV, Section 5 (amendment) of the bylaws, they are:

  1. Live a "life in grace," supported by the tripod of regular piety, study and action.
  2. Be a bona fide member of a local church and regularly attent worship services.
  3. Have a thorough understanding of the Essentials of Tres Días, its methods, and Weekend dynamics.
  4. Be a member of a group reunion and attend on a regular basis.
  5. Support and attend Secuelas and leadership training.
  6. Be willing to be a servant-leader in humble submission to the Word of God, Christ's headship, and the authority of the National Tres Días Secretariat.
  7. Have experience serving on at least four Weekend teams, preferably in different areas.

Lay Director

The Lay Director shall be the lay leader of the Tres Días community and shall be responsible for its overall guidance and direction.  The Lay Director shall be the primary liaison and spokesperson within the Indy Tres Días Community.  The Lay Director shall also be the primary liaison and spokesperson for Indy Tres Días with other groups, organizations and churches, including the International Tres Días Secretariat and assemblies.  The Lay Director may appoint persons and/or committees to address matters not otherwise assigned to existing positions.  The Lay Director shall set dates and select locations for Weekends, Secretariat meetings, and the Annual Meeting.  An additional qualification to serve in the positions of Lay Director, Men's Leadership Director and Women's Leadership Director shall be having served as Rector/Rectora of an Indy Tres Días Weekend.




Spiritual Director

The Spiritual Director shall be a member of the clergy and shall provide advice, counsel and spiritual direction to the Secretariat, and the membership in general.  He/she shall act as primary liaison with the clergy and shall encourage the active participation of clergy in the Community, including the administering of Holy Communion at various functions.  He/she may provide advice and counsel to Rectors and Rectoras in the selection of Weekend Spiritual Directors when requested.  And he/she shall make the final determination on the suitability of a Candidate to participate in a Weekend, when requested to do so by the Chairman, Secretariat as a whole, Rector, Weekend Spiritual Director, or the Candidate's sponsor.




Secretary

The Secretary shall be a layperson responsible for maintaining and preserving all official records for the corporation, except the financial records and the membership list, and correspondence on behalf of the corporation.  He/she shall record the minutes of all meetings of the Secretariat and membership, and shall distribute same to the Secretariat and membership on or before the date of the next regular meeting.  He/she shall provide notice of all meetings by newsletter, separate written notice, or telephone notification.  He/she shall also schedule special meetings as required in the By-Laws.  He/she shall file all required corporate reports with appropriate organizations and agencies.




Treasurer

The Secretary shall be a layperson responsible for maintaining complete and accurate financial records, including sources and uses of funds.  He/she shall present a verbal report of the status of the corporation's finances at each monthly meeting, and a written report at least semi-annually.  He/she shall establish appropriate budgets with the consultation of each Director on the Executive Committee, and shall provide an annual financial report to the membership.  He/she shall determine the cost of each Weekend and recommend an appropriate Weekend fee to the Secretariat.  He/she shall be responsible for fundraising both inside and outside normal channels, to provide adequate funding for all necessary expenditures.  He/she shall specify the form and nature of documentation required for payment of all bills, including reservations, deposits, and fees for Weekend sites.  He/she shall file all required financial reports with appropriate organizations and agencies.




Men's Leadership Director

The Men's Leadership Director shall be a layman responsible for the development of men as Christian leaders, willing to serve Christ in any capacity in the Tres Días community.  He shall develop and maintain a list of all Pescadores within the Tres Días community and equivalent communities who have expressed a desire to work on a Weekend team.  This list shall include each person's experience working on Weekends.  He shall also establish and direct a Leader's School, in conjunction with the Women's Leadership Director, to train the members of the Community in the word of God, prayer, sponsorship, the methods and essentials of Tres Días, Weekend dynamics, servant leadership, and other topics designated by the Secretariat.  He shall also make recommendations to the Secretariat for the selection of Rectors, and serve as an exhorter and resource person to earh Rector selected.  He shall chair all meetings in the absence of the Lay Director.




Women's Leadership Director

The Women's Leadership Director shall be a laywoman responsible for the development of women as Christian leaders, willing to serve Christ in any capacity in the Tres Días community.  She shall develop and maintain a list of all Pescadores within the Tres Días community and equivalent communities, who have expressed a desire to work on a Weekend team.  This list shall include each person's experience working on Weekends.  She shall also establish and direct a Leader's School, in conjunction with the Men's Leadership Director, to train the members of the Community in the word of God, prayer, sponsorship, the methods and essentials of Tres Días, Weekend dynamics, servant leadership, and other topics designated by the Secretariat.  She shall also make recommendations to the Secretariat for the selection of Rectoras, and serve as an exhorter and resource person to each Rectora selected.  She shall chair all meetings in the absence of the Lay Director and Men's Leadership Director.




Pre-Weekend Director

The Pre-Weekend Director shall be a layperson responsible for receiving, sorting, and maintaining applications for Candidates to participate in Weekends.  He/she shall be responsible for guaranteeing the integrity of Candidate selection.  He/she shall date each application on the date received.  Selection shall be on a first-come-first-served basis, determined by the date stamped on the application.  He/she shall review each application for completeness and regulary report to the Secretariat the number of Candidates, and any other pertinent information about Candidates.  He/she shall maintain communication with sponsors concerning palanca and any other requirements of or for their Candidates.  He/she shall provide information to selected Candidates on time to arrive, items to bring, and any other matter prior to the Weekend.  He/she shall oversee the check-in process, account for all confirmed Candidates, and shall prepare and distribute the final Candidate and Team list for each Weekend.  He/she shall act as a Master of Ceremonies at each Sendoff.




Weekend Director

The Weekend Director shall be a layperson responsible for all arrangements, materials and logistics at the Weekend site.  He/she shall be responsible for recruiting and directing setup and takedown crews; storage of all equipment, materials and supplies (except food supplies), and transportation of these to and from the Weekend site.  He/she shall order and maintain adequate supplies, including crosses and Pilgrims Guides, for each Weekend.




Post-Weekend Director

The Post-Weekend Director shall be a layperson responsible for Closings, Weekend packets and Fourth Day activities.  He/she shall prepare Weekend packets to include the blank Candidate application forms, worker information forms, sponsorship requirements, and Secretariat roster.  He/she shall make arrangements for the Saturday night activities and Weekend Closings, including notice of dates and times in the newsletter, preparation of the Closing facility, and encouraging participation in both by the Fourth Day Community.  He/she shall also be responsible for scheduling dates and sites for Victory Dinners, in coordination with the Rector and Rectora, within one month after each Weekend, and for monthly Secuelas.  He/she shall maintain a list of Group Reunions and encourage all Pescadores to actively participate in Group Reunions.




Communications Director

The Communications Director shall be a layperson responsible for periodically preparing a newsletter, keeping the entire Community informed of Indy Tres Días matters, including upcoming events and such other matters deemed appropriate by the Directors of the Executive Committee.  He/she shall gather, arrange, edit, and publish information for these purposes.  He/she shall also maintain the official membership list of Indy Tres Días, and a mailing list of others interested in receiving copies of the newsletter.
