Victory Banquet Spring 2008

The Indy Tres Días Victory Banquet #26 was held on March 22nd at Wallace Street Church. We thought that since it was held the day before Easter, the attendance might be down, but approximately 150 people turned out, including several of the new pescadores. Everyone feasted on Indiana Fried WalMart Chicken and all kinds of other good food that everyone brought with them. A real banquet! Following the meal, we sang songs of worship, led by some of the best musicians in the Community! Brian Nicholson then provided us with a Communion meditation, after which we partook of the Lord's Supper. Next, the new pescadores in attendance shared some thoughts with us on how their Fourth Day has been going. We were all moved by what is taking place in the lives of these new members of the Community. The evening was wrapped up with some shared prayer requests, Kelly Beck sharing a special song, and finally everyone praying the Lord's Prayer.
