Has Your Life
Been Interrupted?

We can help!

What Happens at Teen MOPS?

Teen MOPS is led by mothers past their teen years who can share their love and experience with young moms.

Speakers will share their knowledge about topics like:
Goal setting and education
Relationships
Healthy discipline for your child
Budgeting
Preparing quick and healthy meals
Spend time talking while doing fun, creative activities and learning life skills.

All meetings encourage young mothers to share their joys, fears and frustrations while knowing that their kids are well taken care of in the MOPPETS program.

What does Teen MOPS have for me? You will...
Make connections and find support with other teen moms.
Have fun, eat good food and enjoy creative activities, while we care for your child.
Discover resources that will help you become a better mom.
Develop leadership skills and confidence. Experience personal and spiritual growth.
Please Join Us!

Come visit! There is no cost, dinner is served and caregiving is provided.

Teen MOPS Mission Statement:

Teen MOPS wants to grow women of faith and build mothers of the future. *Our goal is to offer love, spiritual guidance and emotional support. *To increase tolerance, build relationships and empower each other. *To provide mothering skills and personal improvement.

What Is MOPS?
MOPS stands for Mothers Of Pre-Schoolers. It is a program designed for mothers with children under school age. The young women who come have different lifestyles and different back grounds, but all with similar needs and a shared desire to be the best mothers they can be.

Teen MOPS provides a faith based, supportive and non-judgmental environment where teen mothers can come together with others who are in a similar life situation. Through the relationships formed at Teen MOPS, young moms gain confidence, learn about mothering, gain life skills and can grow personally.

Join the Adventure!

The MOPS International theme for 2008-09 is Adventures in Mothering. This theme equips moms to learn more about themselves as they go through the adventure of motherhood. They will celebrate and embrace the fun in the experiences, even in the midst of daily mom life that stretches them emotionally and spiritually. The metaphor for Adventures in Mothering is an amusement park. With the sights, sounds, tastes and smells of the amusement park, motherhood might feel like a sensory overload. But your MOPS group will enjoy this together and learn more about themselves as women, moms and leaders. The theme verse for Adventures in Mothering is Ephesians 3:18: “…how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.” The dimensions of this verse express how God is with us in our mothering adventure. The knowledge that God is with us on the mothering adventure gives hope. God’s love is big enough for the magnitude of the adventure!

Better Moms Make A Better World!

  •
    What is MOPShop?

The MOPShop is a store that is kept on site and can be accessed most meetings.

In our store, we try to have items that would be useful to you as a mother, a teen, a scrapbooker, a student, a woman. We will try to put only brand-new items in our store and keep it full.

Each meeting, you will have the chance to earn tickets. Those tickets are what you use to purchase items from the MOPShop.

The idea behind our ticket incentive program is to build responsibility and maturity in our moms. Large items have large “price” tags on them. If you really want something, its always worth waiting, saving up and then buying it with the tickets you have in hand. If you always spend your tickets as soon as you get them, you will always go home with something new, but you will go home with something small.

The same concepts apply to life. Saving cash and using a savings account, not using credit cards and not getting into financial debt is a lesson to learn early rather than late.

      How to Earn Tickets!
