Welcome to the website gateway for NAAL. Our mission here is dedicated to promoting animal welfare and helping animals in need through outreach, education, stricter animal cruelty laws, and continued rescue and adoption efforts.

Teaching compassion towards animals to help move our society towards compassion and more humane treatment of animals is a main focus here at NAAL. We work through promoting and teaching the proper care, protection and respect that all animals deserve.

• Raise awareness of the respect and compassion all animals and the environment deserve.
• Educate and promote the humane treatment of animals.
• Advocate the benefits and rewards of spaying and neutering companion animals.
• Rescue as many animals in need as possible and rehabilitate and find them suitable homes.
• Promote the advantages, benefits and rewards of the human animal bond through youth outreach and other programs.
• To build a brand new facility called the NAAL NEED Center, where all programs and services will be offered and will have the capacity to house more animals in need during their transitions to find loving homes.

• Property-we are looking for property to house our new NAAL NEED Center. An old farm would be ideal as we could refurbish and update to facilitate the center and shelter. We need pasture for livestock, horses, other equine and large animals.

We are currently holding an auction to support NAAL and all of our animal friends. Proceeds from the auction will go to funding rescue and adoption and other programs offered through NAAL.

We have chosen Kuranda dog beds for our boarding facilities because they are so good for our dogs. We still don't have enough for all of our kennels. If you would like to donate a bed so another dog can sleep in proper comfort, please click here.
