MOPPETS Policies & Procedures

Check-In Procedure

  • All childcare room check-in will now be located at the coffee bar.
  • Please sign your child in on the check-in sheet
  • Place the child's nametag on their back and get the corresponding security tag for you. (You will need the security tag when you pick up your child after the meeting)
  • Drop your child at their appropriate childcare room and make sure they have the items they need (i.e. sippy cup etc) and please leave the diaper bag in the hallway by the door.

Check-Out Procedure

  • When approaching the childcare room please try to form an orderly line so that the workers can quickly work to return your child to you.
  • Make sure to hand your security tag to the worker; they will check it against the nametag on your child. The worker will remove the nametag and return your child to you.

General Guidelines

  1. Please label all of your child's things that you will be leaving with them in the childcare room (Diaper Bag, Sippy Cup, Etc) prior to coming to the meeting. This will ensure the workers know what belongs to each child and won't have to disrupt the meeting to find out.
  2. Make sure your child has a name tag on before they enter the childcare room.
  3. Please leave the diaper bag in the hall by the childcare room. This will help keep the rooms free of clutter and things out of little hands. Workers will step out of the room to get things as needed.
  4. When leaving a child, if you need to comfort your child, please step to the side in the hallway. Please do not enter the room as many times this makes it even more difficult for the child to separate from you.
  5. If your child becomes upset during the time of the meeting and has to be brought upstairs it is acceptable for them to stay as long as they are not being disruptive. If your child becomes loud and disruptive we ask that you excuse yourself to calm and quiet the child.
  6. Small babies are welcome to attend the meetings with their mothers, but once mobile should attempt to be put in childcare. If your child needs you, a childcare worker will not hesitate to come and get you.

Thank you for your cooperation! We realize childcare can be a challenge and we attempt to be as flexible as possible to ensure that our MOPS gatherings are fun and relaxing for all those involved!
