Requirements of Steering Members include:

1. Attend Steering meetings on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 9:30am at the church.
2. Help with setup at 9pm the Thursday night before each MOPS meeting
3. Attend MOPS Meetings
4. Be available to help with meeting set-up / and break-down.
5. Arrive at MOPS meetings at 9am

Finance Lead	Develop & track MOPS budget Maintain Northeast MOPS database. Collect & deposit dues Register Northeast MOPS with MOPS International. Register moms with MOPS International. Submit reimbursement requests to church office. Assist in fundraisers Print nametags & registration lists for MOPS meetings.
Creative Activities Lead	Plan crafts according to budget, time allowed, and level of difficulty Execute crafts
Speaking Lead	Recruit speakers relevant to the audience. Follow-up with speakers week prior to meeting. Purchase thank you gifts and/or thank you cards.
Publicity Lead	Develop monthly newsletter Maintain bulletin board Update Northeast MOPS website. Advertise & create signs for garage sale. Maintain group advertisements in local publications
Hospitality Lead	Create sign-up lists for snacks (moms & kids), meeting setup, and end of semester brunches Create sign-up for meeting hosts Make reminder calls to volunteers prior to each meeting. Purchase gifts for Early Bird Contest & Birthdays Announce Early Bird winners Announce Birthdays Send Birthday Cards
Community Team Lead / Mopportunities	Organize Northeast MOPS service projects. Organize social events – send evites.
Ministry / Care Team Lead	Organize meals for new moms or families with illness or death Follow up emails to moms who missed the week’s meeting Organize off-meeting week playgroups Purchase Moppet worker end of semester “thank you” gifts.
Discussion Groups Lead	Plan Games Plan discussion questions after speakers Organize small groups
