Let's Keep Pets With Their Families
The Furry Friends Food Pantry serves the elderly, housebound, disabled, unemployed, and underemployed in Independence, KS who need help in feeding their companion animals.

Next Distribution
Our next distribution will be on Saturday June 2 from 9:00-9:30 am at First Presbyterian Church, 201 S. 5th in Independence. Pet owners seeking food will need to bring proof of need and fill out an application (available on the website and at the distribution).

Donations Needed
We are low on food, so any donations you can give are greatly appreciated. Drop off food at our donation boxes at the Independence Animal Hospital, the new Dollar General on E. Main, First Presbyterian Church, the Independence Public Library, or Marvin's. If you'd like to write a check, you can bring that to IAH or mail it to FFFP, PO Box 4, Independence KS, 67301.

Distribution Report
On March 3, eight people sought assistance, and we handed out 145 pounds of food!

Looking For a Logo
We are looking for a great LOGO for our flyers, donation bins. etc. EVERYONE is welcome and encouraged to submit a logo. It can be a photo, sketch, drawing, painting, simple or complex, whatever you want to design. You can drop it off to Mr. Blinn on the Children's floor of the Independence Library or email us and we will arrange to pick it up.
