Parent Involvement Building Successful Partnerships (BSP) How to Get Started Talk with your PTA and with parents who are not PTA members yet, and ask how many of them would like to help spread the word about how important parent involvement is for student success. Once you have a group of people who are interested, National PTA will train them in the Building Successful Partnerships program. YOUR PTA PROVIDES Fifteen or more participants who are willing to be trained as Building Successful Partnerships presenters and able to attend the entire session; A site for the training session to take place. Reserve your school cafeteria or library, a community center, a hotel meeting room—any space large enough for the participants and equipped with writing surfaces and chairs will do. NATIONAL PTA PROVIDES National PTA trainers at no expense to your PTA; Training materials for all participants; Reimbursement of food costs for the session; Ongoing support for trained presenters. To request a BSP training session, please complete the form and return it to National PTA. |
