Let me start by telling you a little about my husband, Marshall, and myself.
Marshall and I met in 1996, he worked as a refinery worker for Frontier Oil and I worked in a Dry Cleaners. When we met we knew things would work out for us and 8 months later were married and this is where it all began.
I have always had a great respect and love for animals of all types. Marshall on the other hand had never really had a lot of animals in his life. Boy, did that all change when we got together. Not only did he acquire a wife but 3 more horses, 4 dogs, 3 birds, 2 ferrets, 3 cats, and a tank of fish. Needless to say that all grew in time. We now have a zoo instead of a few pets. We both love it that way. We even had a baby buffalo that I bottled fed.
We decided one day to learn how to raise large birds so we could have something to help out when he retired. Soon after that we decided bird raising was for the experts not us. So that is when our idea changed to dogs. I have always had a dog or many dogs for as long as I could remember. We decided to start our dream of a kennel with boxers. We first bought our male brindle Baxter. He was the most adorable little guy. So then came Mrs. B. and Tuffy. We try to raise all our breeders from puppies we buy. That way we are pretty sure of getting a good healthy dog when grown. We do keep some of our female puppies if they have a really good potential. We then started to add a couple of different breeds. We now raise Pugs, Brussel Griffon, Pomeranian, Chihuahua and Dachshunds. We have all three coat types of dachshund. Smooth, Long hair, and wire hair. We have mini’s to standard size.
Our goal in life is to bring the healthiest, happiest puppies we can possible raise into your home for you to love for years to come.
We buy a very nutritious food for our puppies and dogs. They also get vitamins, regular trips to see their vet just to keep them healthy and lots and lots of love. Our dogs are our kids and we treat them like it. They are all very spoiled and pampered.
If you purchase a puppy from Mar-Car kennel you can be certain we have tried our very best to bring you a health happy puppy.
We have a guarantee on all our puppies as we are certain they are in excellent health when they leave our home.
Our puppies do not leave our home until they are at least 8 weeks old and completely on their own away from the mom. They have been newspaper trained, but they are babies and sometimes have accidents off the paper.
We will ship weather permitting to any state in the United States for an additional $250.00. Most airlines will not ship a puppy if the temp. is 20 degrees or below without a vets ok, or above 70 degrees for short nosed dogs and 75 degrees for longer nosed dogs.
We are USDA and State licensed and are very proud to say we have always passed our inspections.
Our puppies are socialized with people and children from birth. They are outside to run and play in a safely fenced in area when the weather permits. When our females are about 2 weeks from whelping I bring them into the whelping house which is temp. controlled for their comfort. I try to maintain a 70 degree temp at all times.
When you receive your new puppy it will have had 2 sets of puppy shots, wormed every two weeks, and had its kennel cough preventive. All puppies will have had their dew claws removed, and tail docked on breeds that require a short tail. We do not crop ears here. We think the all natural look is best. On our Brussel Griffon some people like the ears cropped so if you want that done an additional charge will be applied.

Hurray,,we finally got our little boy from you...seemed it would take for ever fot the last 5 weeks to creep by. We couldn't wait to get him home. He is the cutiest little guy but we still haven't decided on a name. Every time we think we have it he does something else to change his name. I think we are going to try to stick with Dexter. It was Dan's dad's name. We couldn't give him a grandson to carry on his name so he will have to settle with a grandpuppy named after him. anyway thank you Carol for bringing so much happiness into our life, you did a fantastic job in bring up our little Dexter for his first 8 weeks...now its up to us for the rest of his life. thank you...

I bought two baby dachshunds from her in August and September both sisters from Shelly. They are so cute both are dapples Belle was first then came Chloe they are the best of dogs no matter what you do they won't bite, both are protective and good gaurd dogs.

I have reciently bought a puppy from Carol and her husband. They are two of the nicest people I have met. Their place is fantastic and all the animals from the fish to the horses are in fantastic shape and health. Her dogs are very well cared for and pens were very clean. She did her best to answer all my questions and did a very good and accurate job as my vet said the same things during the puppy check. I would highly reccommend purchaseing a puppy from Mar-Car Kennel any day of the week.

We drove all the way from Ontario to get our beautiful Boston baby....Every minute of that 16hr drive was worth it when we seen her sweet little face!! Picco is 3yrs old and healthy as can be... Carol has been there every step of the way (especially through the "puppy years", answering all my questions.

Carol the site is great, just like my baby BERT is great. I got Bert from Mar-Car Kennel 2 years ago. He is a beautiful German Shephard that has become my buddy, my baby, my protector, and the guard of our property.
