Minisa Chapter Celebrates 70 Years!


Minisa members are very proud to be the third chapter to charter in the association, on March 5, 1942. Our sister chapter, Kaw Chapter in Topeka, was first to charter on February 11, 1942. At that time the association was known as the National Secretaries Association.

    There are four classifications for IAAP membership

    A Professional Member is employed as an administrative professional. In addition, those who have attained the CAP or CAP-OM rating, or are instructors of business education may be Professional Members.

    A Professional-Merited Member has been a Professional Member for 10 years at the time of retirement; has reached the age of 55; or is forced to retire because of physical disability.

    A Student Member is enrolled in business education and can be classified as a student member for a maximum of 4 years.

    An Associate Member is an individual, firm, or educational institution, which sustains the objectives of IAAP.

    MEMBERSHIP DUES*

    Professional Member - $120

    Student Member - $73

    Associate Member - $195

    *Dues include membership in the International Association, Kansas Division, and Minisa Chapter. These amounts include a one-time only new member processing fee of $15.
