Inaugeral Meeting of the Central Kentucy Queen's Council
Area Red Hat Society Queens met in Midway, Kentucky for the first meeting of the CKQC, August 2005. The Queens met at the historic Holly Hill Inn and were greatly impressed with the gorgeous setting. The veranda served as a central place for all the royalty to gather and share some ideas. A delicious lunch was served and afterwards we were rewarded with gifts from the Merchants of Midway. We learned a little of the history of the quaint town and were invited to visit the area with our own chapters. The queens shared ideas, events, and places to gather. We agreed to meet quarterly.
