  Since 2005, Northeast Christian Church has sponsored an outreach program that provides formal attire to girls wishing to attend their prom, but lack the financial resources.

In the three years since the inception of this incredible event, over 500 girls have been "dressed" by Prom Project. Each girl receives a complete outfit consisting of a gown, shoes, jewerly and purse and the most exciting part is it is all free of charge!

Prom Project is made possible by the generous donations from local businesses, individuals in the community and the congregation of Northeast Christian Church.

 

Our volunteers work closely with school personnel, community agencies and other churches to identify girls who might need the assistance of the program. 		 
On the first Friday in March, the gym of Northeast Christian Church is transformed into a boutique where our Cinderellas come and shop for their dream dress. Talk about a fairy tale come true!
 

 

 

HOW YOU CAN HELP
Prom Project relies solely on donations. In order to make our event successful, we are in need of the following:

  • Formal Gowns - We accept all sizes with a special need for sizes 14 - 30. Gowns should be stain and rip free and no more than 3 years old.
  • Evening Bags
  • Jewelry - Especially rhinestones
  • Shoes - Especially silver and gold
  • Dry cleaning services
  • Clear, plastic garment bags
Volunteer - Help staff our event
