WHY . . .The goal of the festival is to promote knowledge of traditional arts, crafts, storytelling, music, and dance.

Come spend some time at the Red Bud Folklife Festival, enjoy comfort foods and craftspeople at work, sharing traditions, heritage, music and performances.

Crafters, Demonstrators, Musicians, and Performers will be announced at a later date.

Redbud Folklife Festival:

The 2008 Redbud Folklife Festival is a partnership with the Kentucky Arts Council, National Endowment of the Arts, Union College at the Bennett Center, Nathan Reese Learning Center at Union College, The Bennett Center, East Bernstadt School, London-Laurel Tourist Commission, The Laurel County Public Library, The Laurel County Extension Office and Laurel County Schools.
