What are the fees and costs for Scouting? Every attempt is made to keep costs low and affordable so the entire Cub Scout's family will be able to afford events and participate. Pack 221 also holds fundraisers to help defray costs for awards, badges and supplies and to give more flexibility when planning quality events. Cub scout registration is $45 per year and includes a Boys' Life magazine subscription and insurance for the Cub Scout for events through the Boy Scouts of America. We usually schedule two family camping trips - the District Cuboree in the Fall, and a more relaxed Pack Campout in the Spring. The camping fees vary depending on meals provided, t-shirts and patches included, and other costs of activities. Generally, the amount is $10 for adults, $7 for 14 years and under and no charge for children 3 years and younger. Throughout the scout year there will be special field trips and overnighters available to all scouts but are not mandatory to attend, in addition to other camping and events provided by our District and Council. Fees are applicable and are payable upon sign-up at the pack meeting. |
