Pack 221 Charter
Pack 221 is chartered by the VFW Ivan Huval Post #7286 in Covington, and is part of the Istrouma Area Council based in Baton Rouge, LA. Pack Meetings are held monthly at Madisonville Elementary School. Our pack is part of the Bogue Tuchenna District of BSA that includes Washington Parish and West/Northern St Tammany. Full family involvement in all events is welcome.
2008 Bridging: Congratulations to all the Cub Scouts who advanced to the next rank! Thanks to the parents who organized the Bridging Ceremony at the park and also the local businesses who donated. The food was delicious!
Pack 221 is proud to announce our "Scout of the Year": (drum roll please) Jacob Boyer! Congrats!
2008 Summer Day Camp information for those who registered can be found here: BTBSA.org. As always, parent volunteers are needed to organize and instruct at camp. And you get a FREE SHIRT! Pack 221 is scheduled for first week this year, so tell your boss not to expect you June 2-6th! Scroll down the page for pics of last year's Day Camp.
Summertime Pack Activities: Remember to check the website, scouttrack.com and your email over the summer for upcoming events! We usually have two events planned for each summer month.
For the latest information, please check the Pack Calendar on www.scouttrack.com. Parents who log-in can view the details of Council, District, Pack and Den events, check on their son's advancements, and view other information specific to their Den. This is a wonderful tool that our Pack hopes to make better use of this year.
