Pack 221 Charter
Pack 221 is chartered by the VFW Ivan Huval Post #7286 in Covington, and is part of the Istrouma Area Council based in Baton Rouge, LA. Pack Meetings are held monthly at Madisonville Elementary School. Our pack is part of the Bogue Tuchenna District of BSA that includes Washington Parish and West/Northern St Tammany. Full family involvement in all events is welcome.
We are having our 1st Pack Meeting very late this year, due to the MES Gym being unavailable on the 14th. Unfortunately, Cuboree forms are due to the District on the 19th of September! We are asking for an extension until the 22nd, the day after our first Pack Meeting. But we would like to get as many forms in as possible before then. Laurie will be at PJs Coffeehouse on Hwy. 21 from 6:30pm - 8:30pm on Monday, September 14th (this coming Monday). If you want to avoid filling out all medical forms, Cuboree forms and paying fees at the first meeting, and to save the leaders some trouble, PLEASE come to PJs to complete your forms and pay your fees on Monday.

Until the switch is complete, we will continue to update both sites. We hope you enjoy the new format of the website, and we welcome your feedback.
The Roundup was held on September 10h, and it was a great success! We welcome all the new members.

The next Pack Meeting will be held on Monday, September 21st at the Madisonville Elementary School Gym at 6:30pm. (Note the date change due to a conflict with the gym.) At this meeting, we will discuss the following:
- Welcome our new members to the Pack
- Cuboree
- Raingutter Regatta
- Fundraising
- Achievements earned during the summer
Parental involvement is absolutely necessary so that the Pack can continue to provide quality experiences for our boys. Please consider taking on a leadership position, as many hands make less work.
