Now that school is back in secession, The Kids Trash Patrol is gearing up for a membership drive. We invite interested students to contact us at The Les Reflections' office. We will meet every four to six weeks to do environmental projects, trash pickups and fun things. So come earn your points to receive your free jacket!

Earlier this past May, the Kids Trash Patrol volunteered for Great American Clean up! The dedicated girls and boys did a great job. Last January, the Kids Trash Patrol cleaned along Highway 24 in Larose from the bridge to Highway 3235. The children who took part in the clean up are: Layla Delatte, Mason Thibodaux, Brad Landry, Amber Terrebonne, Morgan and Jude Curole. A truckload of trash was picked up. Most of the items were glass bottles. Many thanks to Officer Blake Hollifield and Officer Virginia Willson who provided a safe escort along the roadside. We express our appreciation to Sheriff Craig Webre, for supporting the Kids Trash Patrol.

The Kids Trash Patrol also donated their time to many fairs and festivals over the last year.

The Kids Trash Patrol is an environmental service club for children from first to eight grades, jointly sponsored by Les Reflections du Bayou and the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office.
