We are looking for businesses which we can partner up with to secure grants -in particular, beautification grants and capital grants. Our wish is to have people volunteer to give a little something back to their community. A few hours once or twice a year would make a big difference in the appearance of our local communities. If you can volunteer some of your time, please call us. Our material wish list to keep LRDB volunteers motivated and working:
-Barrels (Some need replacing. More are needed for HWY 3235.)
-Picnic tables are needed for roadside parks.
-A Copier.
-Phone Cards.
-Permanent Office Space: We are looking for a larger, more modern, 'office friendly' space with an area for a tool shed and small greenhouse. Please consider us if your business has extra space!
-Postage Stamps to keep members informed and administer grants)
-Gift Certificates to Office Supply Stores. Administering grants takes lots of documentation. Supplies of paper and printer cartridges are very useful.
-Gift Certificates to hardware stores! We can get the job done with the right tools.
-Gift Certificates to Nursery/Plant Supply Stores. Beautification projects need plants, mulch, fertilizer, etc..
-Committee Leaders for the Kids Trash Patrol, Community Service Workers, Memberships, Project Support Personal
-Volunteer Today!
