News
I am often asked by new parents what type of a daycare I have. I would say that I offer the best of both worlds. I have a small daycare within my home, which appeals to many parents, because its a home environment but it is ran like a preschool or daycare center, something that many parents are looking for. I offer curriculum of a preschool center for a more affordable rate. I try to have a feeling of “home” here and treat the children as part of my family. I follow a daily schedule with time provided for structured and non-structured activities for toddlers and preschoolers that are appropriate for the ages of the children in my care. Time is always available to infants to meet their needs as well.

~Welcome Happy Holidays~                   I'm delighted that you stopped in to view my program! I developed this site to explain my goals, philosophy, and program policies. I hope that the information on this site serves as a basic orientation to the program so you will know what to expect when you come to view the center. There is much to learn and remember about a new program. Good communication and understanding between parents and children are very important to me in keeping my program running smoothly. I hope that you will ask questions about things you don't understand and make suggestions as to ways in which you think I can improve this program. I sincerely hope that your involvement with this center will be a positive and rewarding experience.

Goals/Purpose:  *To foster the intellectual, social, physical, and emotional well-being of each child. *To provide affordable child care within the budget of each parent. *To support families in meeting the needs of their children. To offer safe reliable quality child care options available to all families in need. Each child is an individual who deserves to be treated with love and respect at all times. *Feeling loved, cared about, and safe are the most important aspects of good development.

NEW HOURS OF OPERATION:
We offer Full Year Enrollment for child care. The Center is open each weekday from 6:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. except on the days listed in our calendar. In consideration of the staff and children, we ask that the Center's hours be respected, as follows:

  PARENTS
Parents at the Center: Parents are warmly encouraged to spend as much time as possible at the Center. Your children, especially if they attend full time, spend many hours with me. I feel that it is crucial to develop a strong link between the center and home in order to provide the best possible care for all of the children. Participate in the activities. It is important for you to know what your child's day is like at the center and it is important for us to know how your child is at home. Good communication means good childcare! I strongly encourage your participation in our program and welcome your suggestions and comments.
Parents' Meetings: I plan parent meetings throughout the year. They include discussions on topics of interest and concern, speakers, and an opportunity to be involved in planning center activities. I hope that you will be involved in these meetings.
Parent Conferences: I schedule conferences at the beginning, middle, and end of each child‘s enrollment. This is the time to sit down with me to discuss your child's growth and development. Conferences can also be scheduled at any time when there is a concern or if you just want to talk with me about how your child is doing. I will always make time for these conferences.

~Im A Child Care Provider~
    *Although I'm not their mother,
*I care for them each day.
*I cuddle, sing, read and tickle them,
*And watch them as they play.
*I see each new accomplishment and hear first words,
*I help them grow and learn,
*I understand their language, and I listen with concern.
*They come to me for comfort,
*And I kiss away their tears.
*They proudly show their work to me,
    *I give the loudest cheers!
*No, I am not their mother,
*But my role is just as strong.
**I nurture them and keep them safe,
    *Though maybe not for long.
*I know someday the time may come,
*When we will have to part,
*But I know each child I've cared for is forever in my heart.
