PTO Committees
Jog-A- Thon Committee
This is the one and only fundraising event of the year. Promoting health and exercise, the students run laps during their physical education class earning pledges from family and friends. Gym supplies and other gifts are purchased for the school (i.e. last year in addition to new gym equipment new library furniture was purchased for the school). This event is always a lot of fun! Friends and family can attend the event to cheer the children on!
Volunteers needed.
Time commitment: September and October
Faculty Appreciation
The Faculty Appreciation Committee oversees the activities that take place during the year to honor our teachers and staff. Throughout the year this committee arranges special luncheons and organizes seasonal treats and decorations for the teacher's room.
Volunteers needed.
Time committment : varies September through June
Holiday Festival Committee
The Holiday Festival has become the most anticipated event of the year. Invite the entire family to celebrate the holidays with crafts, games, holiday treats, raffles and a visit from Santa. The school halls are decked with artwork created by students. Enjoy listening to the sounds of the season. Choral and instrumentals are performed by students.
Volunteers needed.
Time commitment: October through December
Pizza Game Night Committee
Bingo is the name of the game! It's a great event for every family to share in fun and games, and your chance to win the famous classroom sponsored them basket raffles. Try your luck, one of the two nights this event runs.

Time commitment: January through March
Box Tops & Soup Labels
The PTO participates in the General Mills Box Tops for Education, Campbell’s Labels for Education and Tyson’s A+ programs. Students collect the box tops and labels from home and bring them to school, where they are redeemed for money and equipment.
Volunteers needed.
Time commitment: September through June, 5-8 hours per month
Ink Cartridge Recycling
The PTO participates in the Funding Factory, recycling printer ink cartridges as a fundraising effort. Collection and submissions of the cartridges from the school and local businesses keep this program in the black.
