Habitat for Humanity Nantucket's Development Committee has worked with enthusiasm to raise sufficient money to complete a house. Our goal is to raise enough money to build eight houses in five years, with, of course, volunteers in as many aspects of the project as possible to keep costs low. The Development Committee has obtained pledges for more than half of its goal for eight houses!

Donations of land are crucial to the success of Habitat for Humanity Nantucket. Currently, we are seeking lots from the Nantucket Housing Authority who are working with us as partners. We are also searching for those who might like to donate a lot or piece of land to Habitat as part of their estate planning.

DONATING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

Habitat for Humanity Nantucket is also in need of services provided by lawyers, licensed architects, engineers, surveyors, clerical workers and other professionals. Donations of these valuable services help us to keep our costs down so that we can build more houses.
