The Church Relations Committee keeps the local religious community informed about the activities of Habitat for Humanity Nantucket.The committe brings to the attention of the church communities the needs of each project and future planning for Habitat for Humanity Nantucket.

Recently, the women of a local church held a kitchen and bath shower for the family of our first house. A list was gathered of things the family will need in their new home and the ladies responded with great generosity. There was also a delicious luncheon provided for the occasion!

Habitat for Humanity homeowners benefit from prayer, funding and volunteer support that churches provide, while the church community enjoys the many benefits of working in partnership.

Building houses offers a unique opportunity for the church community to experience faith in new and exciting ways.
