The High Society Orchestra was formed in 1976 by Trombonist/Arranger Warren "Bud" Trow. After rehearsing to get the band to sound tight together, High Society played for many functions up until the 1990s. In the mid-90s, the band disbanded for a time, due to illness and grueling rehearsal schedules. Recently, Dan Gabel has taken over management of the band, and we are proud to announce that we are "back in business!" The band is currently rehearsing with some of the original members, as well as some new ones. Together again, the High Society Orchestra hopes to continue to bring classic hot jazz to audiences everywhere, into the 21st century!
