Holy Name has four opportunities for students to participate in the Music Department's bands which are made up of most traditional concert band instruments.
Beginner Band (B Band) - for those students who would like to begin learning to play a band instrument.
Intermediate Band (I Band)- offered to both junior and senior high school students who have developed an intermediate level of playing.
Advanced Band (A Band) -for high school students (and junior high by audition). offered both full time and part time -Full Time: level one class offered during regular class time- G period. -Part Time: meet after school on thursdays and during the study period 2 times out of the 7 day rotation.
Jazz Ensemble - by audition, meets after school on Mondays and Fridays.
Combo Band and Dixieland Band: by invitation only
Private lessons are available on all instruments except for string.
