Welcome to Holy Name Music

Music Department

Advanced Chorus (A Chorus): For high school students (and junior high by audition) offered both full and part-time.

Full Time: level one class offered during regular class time-D period

Part Time: meet after school on Fridays and during the study periods two times during the seven day rotation.

Schola Choir: By audition, meeting times TBA during school announcements.

Beginner Band (B Band): Offered to those students who would like to begin learning to play a band instrument.

Intermediate Band (I Band): Offered to those students both junior and senior high who have developed and intermediate level of playing.

Advanced Band (A Band): For high school students (and junior high by audition) offered both full and part time.

Full Time: level one class offered during regular class time- G period

Part Time: meet after school on Thursdays and during the study period two times during the seven day rotation.

Jazz Ensemble: By audition, meets after school on Mondays and Fridays.

Combo Band and Dixieland Band: By invitation only.

All groups perform in concerts scheduled throughout the year:

Concert Schedules

Performances
ALL groups perform in concerts scheduled throughout the year:
A Chorus and A Band will perform 4 Christmas Concert and 2 Spring Concerts
B Band,I Band, and the Jazz Ensemble will perform in a February and June concert
A Chorus, A Band, and Jazz Ensemble will participate in the Great East Festival in May
