TYPING AND E-MAILING ENTRIES
Typing your own child's submission is a big help. If you are able to e-mail the submission after typing, that's even better! The address for e-mailing submissions is underthelindentree@yahoo.com. You can also format your child's submission if you'd like, by following the directions in the next section.
VOLUNTEERING TO TYPE
Typing submissions for Under the Linden Tree is easy and fun! Just send us an e-mail by clicking on the 'Write Us' link below, and we'll contact you when we need typists. All you have to do is download the Typist Template, and then type over the content in the example submission. All of the document formatting (font, size, style, margins, spacing) will be automatically created as it will appear in the book. Just follow the step-by step instructions in the Typist Guidelines.
OTHER VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITES
If you'd like to be involved with any other aspect of Under the Linden Tree, there are lots of opportunities, both large and small. Task categories include administration, communication, submission processing, typing, editing, scanning artwork, layout, proofing, printing and binding.
