Summer Camp 2009
THAT WAS GREAT!
Congratulations to Andrew, Chris H., George & Steven on their tap out for O.A. Good luck on your Ordeal!
Adam & Chris L. advanced to 1st Class and Kyle received his Tenderfoot rank. Way to go boys.
SWIM, SWIM, SWIM. Back stroke, breast stroke, side stroke, just swim, swim, swim Frank & George. And don't stop until you've gone a whole mile, which they both did! Peter was prepared to help with his Lifesaving merit badge, the only boy in our Troop!
COPE >>>> Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience Tim Bo., Frank, Chris & George took on the challenge and were rewarded with a GREAT experience of personal growth. Did Tim actually start a chant in the Dining Hall? It's working already, keep it up boys.
Merit Badge Hall of Fame Jacob completed ALL 7 of the badges he took at Camp. Impressive! Everybody worked extremely hard and even found some time to play hard. SWAMP ROMP, McGee Games, War Canoe, Trading Post and more. A ton of badges were earned at camp and so were a few partial's. Don't wait to complete those, find out what you need to do and GET IT DONE!! Ask if you need help, with anything.
Goings On

RANK ADVANCEMENT Congratulations to all who earned rank advancement. Well done! We now have 1 Life, 2 Star & 6 1st Class. What can you do to advance at Summer Camp?
Owen's Eagle Project! Owen would, again, like to thank every body who showed up to help with his Eagle project Sunday afternoon. There is still a bit more left to finish and details with the date and time will be forth coming.

Words To Live By
TRUSTWORTHY
From the dictionary ... "adjective"
deserving of trust or confidence; dependable; reliable
It is not so much what you would do if you were alone, but what you will stand up for when you are part of a group.
ADULTS WELCOME
ALL PARENTS are invited to join the boys on outings. We need adults to sign up to help us on trips and at meetings. Any interested parent need only register with the BSA as a committee member. Registered leaders are also needed to do Boards of Review for the boys who are ready for rank advancement.
The BSA offers lots of training for leaders and I've found that this training is good for other aspects of your life. You will learn some valuable management and organizational skills. Talk to the troop Assistants for more details.
PATROL CORNER
Stay tuned here to this spot for each Patrol to have their own spot on this website. The Falcons, Pirates, and Cobras will all have their own area on this website to communicate with their patrol members. Start coming up with those ideas.
Pirate Patrol leader is Chris H.
Cobra Patrol-Tim B1 is patrol leader
Falcon Patrol leader is Andrew
All three Patrol leaders attended NYLT in August and we will be ready to go with this section soon. Great job boys.
