Court of HonorJune 24, 2009 Thank you to everyone that helped with the Court of honor by presenting, setting up, etc. A big thanks to Mrs Hagan, Mrs Leclaire, and Mrs Crane for getting us a LOT of ice cream and serving it. Thank you to Mrs Lagor for making up the certificates. A big thank you to DJ Tiny for providing the music and sound system.
I'd like to say thank you to Gary, Peter, Steven, George, and Andrew for coming to SERVE today. We only have 14 packages of food to deliver to cars but it's still nice to have a presence, and they stayed after SERVE to set the room up for a function. Great job boys.
We have 24 boys and 6 adults attending Summer Camp this year!
If any boys are interested in Public Speaking Merit Badge, Mr. Despres will be teaching this one at camp. Call him if you would like to get started on it before camp. We do not have a boy in the Troop that has this badge and it would be nice if someone got it.
Mr. Borus will be teaching Salesmanship Merit Badge at camp. If you would like to get started before camp, call him and get going on it.
Mr. Millette will again be teaching Bird Study Merit Badge at camp, so remember to work that into your camp plans as well.
HEALTH FORMS
We need every person attending Camp to have an updated health form to us as soon as possible. The forms are available on the council web site and are the only forms that are acceptable. If you have any questions regarding this, or any other questions about Summer Camp, please ask Mr. Borus.
Congratulations to all the boys who earned rank advancement and merit badges. Especially Owen who has now fulfilled all of his merit badge requirements for Eagle. Hopefully we'll have to hold a special Court of Honor in the near future. George and Steven are now Star! Great job! RANK ADVANCEMENT

Owen would, again, like to thank every body who showed up to help with his Eagle project Sunday afternoon. There is still a bit more left to finish and details with the date and time will be forth coming.
Our next focus is Summer Camp. (See above.) We will try to have a Committee meeting late July/early August to discuss the upcoming year.

It is not so much what you would do if you were alone, but what you will stand up for when you are part of a group.
The BSA offers lots of training for leaders and I've found that this training is good for other aspects of your life. You will learn some valuable management and organizational skills. Talk to the troop Assistants for more details.
Stay tuned here to this spot for each Patrol to have their own spot on this website. The Falcons, Pirates, and Cobras will all have their own area on this website to communicate with their patrol members. Start coming up with those ideas. All three Patrol leaders will be attending NYLT in August and we will be ready to go withthis section. Great job boys.
