Here is what you can expect if you join this year
Den Meetings A den is a group of six to eight boys that meets once a month at a scouts home or community center with 1 or 2 volunteer parents called den leaders. During the meetings the scouts learn a skill or complete the requirements for a badge using the Cub Scout Mannual as a reference.
Pack MeetingsThe monthly pack meeting occurs the first Friday of the month, at 7pm, at the Church of Christ and brings together boys from every den, their leaders, and their families, to participate in a large-scale event that serves as a showcase for what the boys have learned and done in their individual den meetings.
Volunteers Parents are asked to be part of this experience by helping with a few of the events that occur each year. The more volunteers we have, the better the program runs.
Events Events, excursions, camping trips and banquets will be posted on this page as a resource to the parents and scouts.

MILLIS CUBSCOUTS CAMP OUT WITH THE BOYSCOUTS
As part of the requirements for his communicator badge, Zach Golden writes about the Webelow II's overnighter with the Boy Scouts.

Scout Sleepover by Zach Golden
In November we went on a sleep over with the boy scouts at Bogastow. It was so cold we thought we would freeze. The boy scouts took the Weblo 2’s on a nature hike and after they taught us how to lash and we built a gateway to our site. I roasted a hot dog over the campfire for my dinner. Before we went to bed we sung a song while one of the boy scouts said the scout oath and the scout law. We hustled to our sleeping bags because it was so cold.
While lying in our tents at night, we could hear the sound of coyotes howling at the moon. And in the morning we heard a group of wild turkeys walking past the campsite. In the morning we had breakfast and helped take down some of the scouts’ tents. After a cold, cold night a nice hot shower feels good. We had a great time.

Great Job Zach!
Great Job and Good Luck to the Webelow II's!!!
