Youth night - April 29

The group game this evening was to see if they could duct tape someone from the group to the wall of the church and have them stay up after the chair was removed. Look who they chose!

January 28th - First meeting!

The teens met for the first time in awhile and will be meeting every Friday evening from 7 - 8:30 or so. After a video clip and talk about "What Makes us TRULY HAPPY" - Proverbs 14:12 we had the first competition. Each group had to create a self-stand tower using toothpicks, spaghetti, and gum drops. This weeks winners were Jason, Adam, Kyle, and James. They each earned 1 point for their win. Both groups did a great job and had towers that measured 2 feet or higher. Each week we will be having group competitions (different groups each week). When a person reaches 3 points they will be treated to icecream at Friendly's. See you next week!

Youth Group Covenant

  1. We agree to participate and make every effort to function as a team and care for one another.

  2. We will stay focused on God and our relationship with God.

  3. We will be sensitive to one anothers needs and try to include everyone so that they feel accepted and important to the group.

  4. We will treat one another with respect and remember when its time to play and when its time to be more serious.

  5. We will listen to one another, especially when others are talking in group discussions, and try to hear whats being said.

  6. We will help to make our group a safe place by avoiding name-calling, insensitive teasing, and inappropriate sarcasm and put-downs.

  7. We will keep personal conversations confidential (as long as no safety or legal issue in involved)

  8. We will be honest, trustworthy, and supportive for our group.

  9. We will be on time to gatherings and make every effort to attend every session so that others can count on us.

  10. We will pray for one another as caring and loving Christians.
