Objectives and Purpose of the Conference 

  • Connect IFP fellows in the New England region and to promote a deeper understanding and appreciation of the IFP fellowship program

  • Provide a venue for IFP fellows to share experiences and lessons learned; and provide an evaluation to the IFP program for the benefit of future fellows

  • Create an opportunity for IFP fellows to interact and build a social network and support system

  • Discuss key issues and challenges of leadership, social justice and development and how IFP fellows can be more effective in their response

  • Identify and discuss challenges and obstacles that IFP Fellows will face when they return home and possible re-entry strategies to meet them

  • Develop strategies for an effective IFP alumni network
