The goal of the Friends is to raise awareness, raise funds, and provide resources to promote sailing and other watersports in the Town of Swampscott.
Every year, we sponsor events and provide volunteer opportunities to support sailing in our town. To find out more about the Friends and about sailing activities in Swampscott, sign up for our newsletter by clicking on the link below.
To make Swampscott Sailing the Best Town-Based Sailing Program in the North Shore, we need your help. Your support will go toward some of our identified goals:
- Purchase two floats for six Club 420s to get them off the beach ($7,500 each)
- Purchase a sixth Club 420 for Youth Racing and Big Blue Sailing Team ($2,000-$10,000)
You can become a member of the Friends by making a tax-deductable contribution of only $25. Benefits include a 10% discount at Lynn Marine Supply at Marblehead Harbor, plus you will receive our monthly e-newsletter and will be able to participate in our annual meeting and help set the direction of our program.
