St. Anne's Young Adult Ministry

Welcome, bienvenue, and bem-vindo...to St. Anne's Young Adults website!

St. Anne's Catholic Young Adult Ministry is located in Fall River, Massachusetts. This group is open for all young adults who hope to create a community for prayer, socials, learning, and service, with the intention of virtuous living for the betterment of ourselves, each other and the world.

Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, heartfelt compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.(Col 3:12)

As Jesus calls us, we can respond in our search for Truth and Love in many ways; through God's grace and the Gifts of the Holy Spirit we can shine througout our life. The mysteries and Sacraments create in us an active discipleship of service to each other and can give us fulfillment of joy in life.

While discerning your vocations or individual paths at this stage in life, St. Anne's Young Adults Group invites you for inspiration, knowledge, sharing and to unite your values with our missions. Thank you for visiting and peace be with you!

Theology on Tap lectures, Diocese of Fall River currently hosting event monthly in Attleboro and will be offering an additional group for those on Cape Cod. It is anticipated a third site near the cities of Fall River/New Bedford next spring. Please see schedule for dates of TOT lectures in your area!

Saturday Vigil at 4:00pm and 6:30pm

Sunday at 8am (in French), 10am, 12 noon, and 6:30pm

French spoken Mass in Shrine, all other Masses in the upper church

Weekdays

Monday through Friday at 7:15am, 11:30am, and (6:30pm cancelled)

Saturday at 7:15am and 11:30am

All Masses in the Shrine

Confessions

Monday through Saturday 11:00-11:30am

Saturday 3:00-4:00pm

Parish and diocesan priests are available for confessions in the Shrine confessionals

Perpetual Novenas

Novena to St. Anne on Tuesdays at 6:20pm

Novena to St. Jude on Thursdays at 6:20pm

Novena Masses are held in the Shrine(to be cancelled)

Recitation of Rosary and devotionals said before Mass times

Healing Masses with Benediction, Adoration and Music

See bulletin or postings in church, typically monthly on weeknights

Stations of the Cross

During Lent, Fridays at 11am in the Shrine

On the First Friday of each month, also at 11am in Shrine

Bible Study

Next class to begin mid September. Subject of study will be the Book of the Prophet Isaiah.

Please visit our beautiful church shrines of Our Lady of Lourdes, Our Lady of Fatima, Padre Pio, Mother Teresa, St. Francis, St. Jude, and walk the Stations of the Cross with us

By prayer, example, encouragement, denunciation, we have all labored to bring in the reign of justice, yet are conscious of much that still remains to be done. Yet despite this chronic state of discontent, the heart should be at peace.

Are the consolations of God not enough for you, and speech that deals gently with you? (Jb 15:11)

Gloria! Let us give praise to God just for being God.

ADORATION, CONTRITION, THANKS, SUPPLICATION

Prayer to St. Anne
Dear Saint Anne, filled with compassion for those who invoke you and with love for those who suffer, I ask you to please hear my concerns and help me obtain reconciliation and peace.[Here mention your petition] I am comforted by your care, and wish to be as beautiful as our Blessed Mother, and as strong and pure as St. Joseph. We implore protection from our guardian angels, and through the guidance of the saints may we continuously seek to live in search of the truth of Divine Wisdom. Through Jesus, our Lord, all things are possible.

When God created man, he made him in the likeness of God. (Gn 5:1) We have reason for praise: we are God's children, made in His image. When we are defaced by sin or destruction, God can renew in us that image. God is that light of the world, in which we can see ourselves as we are and as we are intended to be. Our challege is to grow towards the true humanity we see in him. -Magnificat
