The WALK for the Homeless is a wonderful family event that brings together members of private, public, business and faith
communities to address issues of homelessness and housing facing our Central Massachusetts community.

Visit CMHA and the other WALK beneficiaries at the following sites for more information:

The 23rd Annual Walk for the Homeless will be on Sunday May 18, 2008. Please save the date!!! Much more information to follow. Event

Schedule:

# Registration begins at 1:00 PM at Worcester City Hall
# The WALK begins at 2:00 PM
# The WALK ends at the Central Branch YMCA's Murray Ave Park
# Join CMHA there for a family cookout, live entertainment, kid's games & face-painting

This year's WALK will visit several Worcester neighborhoods, and highlight business and community initiatives within each. Bring your pledge sheet, donations, and/or copy of your on-line donations to the WALK. WALKers who turn in $100 or more the day of the WALK will receive a free 2006 WALK day T-shirt! Registration begins at 1:00 PM at Worcester City Hall. The WALK begins at 2:00 PM, and ends at the Central Branch YMCA's Murray Avenue Park. Join CMHA there for a family cookout, live entertainment, kid's games & face-painting! Central Mass Housing Alliance offers free shuttles between City Hall and the YMCA parking lot, as well as along the walk route.
