The Alpha Chapter has been working hard on several projects this semester. So far we have worked on Emerson's "Free For the Weekend" Program, Daffodil Days for the American Cancer Society and Emerson's Community Service Fair. Also, a group of Alpha's have been working with Citizens Schools Apprenticeship Program. They are working with a group of 9-14 year olds making a Public Service Announcement that will be used to promote Citizens School and will be shown at Emerson later in the year. Currently, we are working on the Bowl-a-Thon to benefit the American Cancer Society (April 13th). Eddie Jones and Kristen Modesitt, our wonderful Fund-Raising and Community Service Chairs respectively, have been hard at work getting donations from local businesses. Alpha will also be out and about in Boston selling Daffodils once again for the American Cancer Society (March 22-23), and will be sewing blankets for the "Welcome Baby" Program to benefit families in need (March 24). Keep checking back to get the latest on all of these great and worthwhile projects! |
Congratulations to the Alpha Chapter's Fall 2002 graduate : Allyson Lohr! Allyson Lohr (Spring 2001) has received her B.S. in Management Communication. While we are saddened to see her go, we send her our love and best wishes | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
