Hello everyone! I hope you had a safe and happy holiday season and took a little time to rejuvenate and rest up for the year ahead. We have the great news of a signed budget, but the reality of dealing with reductions in many areas. GFEBS is on the horizon for many of us and that brings with it a lot of change. Our community will be very busy this year and the Chapter is committed to providing meetings and information sessions that will help you through it! As work schedules and commitments become more and more hectic it is important that we all remember to slow down every now and then and enjoy those around us that make our lives so full; lean on the folks that can help us, like our fellow chapter members; and remember to take things one day at a time.

On a lighter note, I encourage you to participate in the contest to pick a name for the President’s section of the newsletter. Pat had the catchy phrase “Pat’s Ponderings” and well, I just can’t think of anything as catchy! So, please submit to me your ideas for naming this section by 10 February. I’ll pick the one I like best, and the winner will receive a free luncheon at the next meeting. I look forward to your creative ideas!
