Dear FVE Families,

The PTO would like to welcome everyone for the new school year. We invite all FVE families to join us for all PTO sponsored events. More information will be available; including how to pitch in and help with an event, as the dates become closer. Last year, with your support the PTO sponsored nearly ten thousand dollars worth of technology for our classrooms, programs and events at FVE.

    4 – In school Cultural Programs
    Back to School Picnic
    Autumn Harvest Night
    Craft Night
    Teacher Appreciation Week including a catered luncheon for our staff
    A teacher “thank you” dinner during fall conferences
    Summer Book Bag supplies
    The Spring Variety Show
    Dr. Seuss – Reading in our School Night
    New Grade level ELA books for the bookroom
    Technology for the classroom including: ActivVotes, Slates, Wands and Pens
    The “Kinderman” Kindergarten end of year performance
    Fifth Grade Picnic and Moving On Ceremony
We will be doing a variety of fundraisers again this year beginning by selling “Entertainment Coupon Books” through Friday, September 16th. Followed by our “Fun Run” in October. Back by popular demand we will host a Vera Bradley Bingo in March. If you can, please participate in our fundraisers so we can continue to sponsor wonderful events for our students and teachers.

OTHER WAYS TO HELP OUR SCHOOL:

  • Register your local customer loyalty cards!
    • Customer Cards at local grocers are an easy, free way for parents, family and friends to support our school. We earn a percentage of sales at participating stores where you have selected FVE as your organization of choice. For some stores we can earn bonus points at certain times of the year!
    Please note that you need to register your card every year for FVE to get credit for purchases.

    You will be asked to enter your card number and also your last name.
    Funds raised last year through local customer cards:

    Safeway - $839.31

  • Clip Box Tops!
    •  Just look for the Box Tops logo on hundreds of products in almost every aisle of the store. All you need to do is clip and send them to school—- each one is worth 10¢ for our school.
